What we aim for

Health Club co. aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA on this website and in the Health Club app. That is the standard the EU Web Accessibility Directive and the European Accessibility Act both point at.

What is in place today

  • Every page can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, and a “skip to content” link is the first stop in the tab order.
  • Focus is always visible — we never remove the focus ring without replacing it with a clearer one.
  • Body text meets a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background, and large headings meet 3:1.
  • Animation is decorative only. If your system asks for reduced motion, every scroll effect, parallax and transition on this site is replaced with a plain fade or removed entirely.
  • Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; images that are purely decorative are hidden from screen readers rather than described.
  • Text resizes to 200% without loss of content, and the layout reflows to a 320px-wide viewport without a horizontal scrollbar.

Where we fall short

Being honest about the gaps is more useful than claiming there are none:

  • Video content inside the app does not yet carry captions across the whole library.
  • This site has not yet been through a formal third-party audit. The conformance claim above is based on our own testing.

Tell us what is broken

If any part of Health Club is hard or impossible for you to use, email support@healthclubco.app. Tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use if that is relevant. We aim to reply within five working days.
